About

Juleon Rabbani, DrPH

Juleon Rabbani, DrPH, MPH is the Director of the Biostatistical Consulting Unit (BSCU) and Research Scientist in Biostatistics within the Kaiser Permanente Division of Research in Northern California. He directs a team of 30+ biostatisticians and analysts, supporting 400+ active clinical projects and generating 150+ peer-reviewed publications annually across Graduate Medical Education, The Permanente Medical Group, Community Health, and the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine. A member of the KPRNC Executive Council and principal investigator across multiple institutional studies, he trained with the U.S. Department of Defense in Bethesda, MD and founded the KP Public Health Research Internship Program in 2017.

The BSCU at Kaiser Permanente Northern California supports the full continuum of clinical scholarship — from medical students completing their first research project to independent attending physicians advancing their specialty.

GME Trainee Support
Embedded biostatistical consultation for residents and fellows across KPNC GME programs. Supports scholarly project design, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and conference presentation.
Medical Student Research
Consultative and mentorship support for KPSOM students and visiting medical students pursuing clinical and health services research under KPNC physician faculty.
Attending Physician Consulting
Full-service biostatistical partnership for TPMG attending physicians — from research question formulation through submission-ready analyses and publication support.
Community Health & TPMG Initiatives
Collaborative research support for Community Health programs and TPMG quality and outcomes work, with a focus on health equity, population-level interventions, and program evaluation.
